![]() ![]() These moving galaxies would look for places to inhabit that contained the most intergalactic gas clouds more small galaxies would bond with the large ones, and via agreement would be taken apart and its stars forming part of the new galaxy. Once the galaaxy was pulled together to stop it from spinning apart, the substrate layer would move, taking the galaxy with it. Someday, each star would be moved via enormous stellar engines (also plasma-powered, refueled by hydrogen in the universe), and bonded to each track. A new substrate layer was needed to shift loose debris away from each new site again, cosmic tracks were used to localise gravity fields into strings: emulating an artificial universal/galactic web. However, supermassive black holes would become the source of another new way to travel: moving your galaxy. A complete sphere would only be attempted around the smallest black holes: these quickly ran out of power when the black holes evaporated and exploded, leaving the interior dark the surrounding construction around stellar black holes only partially covered it, letting natural light escape into space. To keep this cycle going for longer, larger mirrors and larger black holes were needed: stellar black holes would fit for now. A beam of light was shone inwards, where it would be amplified by superrradiant scattering, until the mirror exploded. An ancient form of this was attempted back in the modern (then-called Resurgence/very early EXPANSION, back on Earth) era with black hole bombs. ![]() One day, power moved from stars to black holes: while planets were left to orbit their stars or move around, the dyson spheres were moving to black holes instead, for use as mirrors. Back during the 2022 Human Forerunner War, the humans attacked the Forerunners by: 'choking cosmic tracks on wayward spaceships, detonating stars, destabilizing planets, even forcing artificial vaccuums to pop black holes into existence! The result was a universe riddled with gravitational holes everywhere.' These would become key to building whole planets they needed a stable dimension to be constructed on, should they move. Descended from weapons attached to spaceships such as fibril cutters, plasma beams were a very adaptable technology that now served to move large sections of ground pieces. ![]()
